Crocodile Island

In 2018 I have designed and branded a total concept of a bookbar. The English name is Crocodile island and everything revolves around the concept of adventure and exploration to stimulate children to read more.

Crocodile consisted out of a few rooms with each its own theme and selection of books. Everything is catered to the safety of children and to provide them with the most comfortable way to enjoy reading.

The logo and mascotte is of course a crocodile, in the color orange to refer to my Dutch roots as a designer. The keychain version travelled together all over the world.

Children can collect points for each visit. These cards can be exchanged for educational gifts to reward their efforts.

We hosted many workshops with a large variety of themes to educate and challenge the children besides stimulating their creativity. Introduce them to topics such as safety in traffic, what to do when there is a fire, countries and their respective culture.
